IITTM General Linguistic Guides tourism training program

In addition to the General Guides tourism training program, The Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management (IITTM), Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, offers a general linguistic guides training program. IITTM is an organisation of the Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India. This IITTM regional level guide training program is for Northern, Southern, Western & Central, Eastern and North Eastern regions of India.

Duration of the training program: 26 weeks

Eligibility Requirements for IITTM Tourist General Linguistic Guide Training Program
1. You should be of at least 20 years of age and fulfil all eligibility conditions on ore before January 7th 2013.
2. Fulfillment of minimum eligibility does not guarantee admission.

Fees: Althought the tourist guide training program is supported by the Ministry of  Tourism, Govt. of India, you have to pay a training fee of Rs.25,000/-.

How to apply for IITTM Tourism Guide Training Program
1. The application form, admission notification and admission guidelines for the selection and grant of guide license to Regional Level Tourist Guides (RLG)-2011 can be downloaded from the official website: www.iittm.org

2. You completed application must be sent along with a demand draft of Rs. 500/- in favour of Director-IITTM, payable at Gwalior to:

3. You must send the application form and DD latest by April 29th 2013. Put them in an envelope superscripted as "RLGTP-General Linguistic Guides".

Important Notes:
1. Incomplete and/or later delivered applications will be rejected.

2. You must go through and understand the guidelines for selection and grant of the guide license to Regional Level Tourist Guides (RLG)-2011 and the Amendments in Guidelines of 2011 for selection and training of RLG, including all terms and conditions, before applying.

3. If you have already applied to the first advt. of January 2013, then you need not apply again.
